Skin disorders are common in the summertime when people sweat more, have more exposure to sunlight and mosquito bites, as well as infectious diseases such as impetigo and water warts. In the winter, the dry climate can cause itching.
Skin conditions such as allergic dermatitis, hives, herpes, shingles, warts, and Athlete`s foot can occur all year round regardless of the season. If you experience even mild symptoms for more than a week, please don`t hesitate to contact us. Toenail problems, corns, and calluses, as well as scalp disorders such as alopecia areata are also very common diseases. Injuries, wounds, and burns should be examined right away for prompt healing with minimal scarring.
We offer elective treatments (outside insurance coverage) for age spots and hair loss, as well as AGA (male pattern baldness). We also perform minor surgeries for moles, benign tumors, and ingrown nails.

Urology Department

Smoking Cessation Outpatient Service

This service was established for those who have the will to quit smoking but cannot seem to kick the habit. Smoking can cause dry skin and acne, malignant tumors such as lung cancer and bladder cancer, hardening of the arteries, angina pectoris, cardiac infarction, cerebrovascular disorders… and the list goes on for all the harmful, or even fatal, damage that tobacco has on the body. Nicotine addiction is a sickness that can be cured through our smoking cessation program, which is covered by insurance!
Our treatment provides smoking-cessation medications for a 12-week period. The success rate is 65.4%. The out-of-pocket maximum is 20,000 yen for those with the typical 30% health insurance payment requirement.

Home Remedies for Age Spots

Our program to get rid of age spots provides two kinds of ointments (tretinoin and hydroquinone) to be applied along with your daily skin care regime. The standard treatment period is two months. Tretinoin is a vitamin A derivative that speeds up the metabolism of the skin and accelerates epidermal turnover. This helps get rid of the melanin pigments that are the source of age spots. Hydroquinone impedes the return of melanin pigments.

Chemical Peeling

Chemical peeling is a skin treatment which involves applying fruit acid (glycolic acid) to the skin by loosening the keratinocytes on the surface of the skin, and then removing thin layers of dead skin. Brief Biography

raduated from the University of Yamanashi. After training at Mitsui Memorial Hospital and the Japanese Red Cross Medical Center, he went on to serve at various hospitals including the University of Tokyo Hospital, Toranomon Hospital,Tokyo Metropolitan Fuchu Hospital, Tokyo Metropolitan Ohkubo Hospital, and Tokyo Metropolitan Hiroo Hospital. In November, 2004, he took office as Director of the Department of Dermatology at Showajinseikai Medical Corporation’s Kokuryo Clinic, located in the Chofu area of Tokyo. In January, 2007, he also became the Director of Kokuryo Clinic’s Urology Department.
